Discovered in the east of the county at Church Stoke in 2013. Only the ninth record for north Wales.

Confusion species
Many species of Stigmella and Ectoedemia are very similar. One of
the best ways of separating them is to examine the type of leaf-mine in
the foodplant. |

Lifestage data
Leaf miner. Eggs laid on upperside of leaf. Larva first mines a slender
gallery, later forming a 'false blotch' where the mine makes a series
of 'S' turns forming a blotch. Pupates in a pale pinkish-brown cocoon. |
